RACING OIL FILTERS ARE A WASTE OF MONEY ON A STREET CAR
Oil filters marketed as "racing" have a higher micron rating than normal filters. They also cost about twice as much as a normal filter. This means that they let larger particles bypass the filter and circulate in the engine. This is so more oil flow can get to the engine parts faster, but it sacrifices filter efficiency. If you are changing the oil after ever race, this might not be a big deal, but I don't race and I change my oil at normal people intervals.
